Prompt 2) Planet of the apes was one of my favorite movies so far. I loved the whole thing I enjoyed mostly the times when Taylor was kicking the apes butts. I loved when Taylor started beating up all the apes and when they finally get him he is able to talk and he tells those apes to get there filthy hands off him. The end was funny when he finds the statue of liberty and he starts to get mad at the humans for destroying his planet it was a good ending to a good movie.
I'm glad you liked it so much Sean. I'm wondering what there is about the movie (or about you) that made you take Taylor's side. I wonder if by the end of the movie you could see things from the perspective of the Ape Doctor in charge of science and religion. And what was "funny" about the final scene?
ReplyDeleteI thoroughly enjoyed the movie as well. I liked it more than the remake I saw a couple years ago. It was easy to take Taylor's side, since he was stranded far ahead from his home. The sequels don't do this movie justice though. I think it would've been fine to leave this a one movie series, greed for more money lead to lackluster sequels.
