Matrix

The matrix was by far the best movie that we saw I loved everything. Especially at the end when Neo became the one and he came back to life and started to kick everyone's life. I loved all the fighting scenes those were great all the special effects were great the movie was a classic and it can't be compared to anything that I've seen.

Brazil

This was a crazy movie that seemed to never end. It had a couple of cool scenes for the most part but it was mostly just a bunch of craziness's that was going on that took place in the future it was really great.

Artificial Intelligence

This was a good movie I loved the plot and the characters. David and teddy were really good and it showed a good story about a robot boy who was as close to human as a robot could get and the journey he had to go on to get what he wanted complete happiness. It shows a lot about what our world could possibly turn into a world that relies on robots but our afraid of them getting to much power. It had some other robots that helped daved of his way like Joe who was a robot who was programed to seduce the ladies and david saves his life and in return helps him to complete his journey he was a father figure I believe in davids life along with davids best friend teddy.

Blade Runner

Prompt 2) Blade Runner was a interesting movie I liked it. I liked the Blade Runner and how he was in charge of destroying the replicants but as the story goes on he actually falls in love with a replicant and they go and live happy together. I liked how the replicants eventhough were being hunted down they never fought innocent people all they wanted to do was to be like normal people. I think that the blade runner was actually a replicant eventhough you never find out thats what I think happened. The part that I also liked from the movie was how they created the city and the cars that they drove and the clothes that they wore.

Soylent Green

Prompt 2) Soylent Green was a bizarre movie it was a real twister. The ending was crazy how it ended up begining that everyone was actually eating people but they did not know it. The movie ends with Thor saying people are soylent green. But there was some good moments in the movie. When Thor goes to Simmons house and starts to steal all of his stuff it shows you what kind of world they live in. Also the girl that Thor falls in love with is a prostitute who comes with the house and is furniture. It is funny how Thor was questioning the girl and then next thing you know there in the bed room and doing the deed it is pretty funny how he was questioning her and then there sleeping with each other. Sol was also a good character he was Thors friend and it was sad that he had to die but he was old and he had to because he nothing to live for.

Planet of the Apes

Prompt 2) Planet of the apes was one of my favorite movies so far. I loved the whole thing I enjoyed mostly the times when Taylor was kicking the apes butts. I loved when Taylor started beating up all the apes and when they finally get him he is able to talk and he tells those apes to get there filthy hands off him. The end was funny when he finds the statue of liberty and he starts to get mad at the humans for destroying his planet it was a good ending to a good movie.

2001: A Space Odyssy

Prompt 2) The movie 2001: A Space Odyssey was a well put together movie it had a very good plot. I enjoyed all of it except the end was a little hard to understand. My favorite part was when they were traveling to Jupiter. I also liked HAL at first but once I found out that he was starting to go crazy I did not find him that cool anymore. I also liked the monkey scene that was really funny. The monkeys were awesome especially when they all of a sudden became smart because they touched the monolith. Everyone says that this is one of the greatest movies of all time and now that I have seen this movie I would have to agree based on the time this movie came out that this is one of the greatest movies ever.

The Day the Earth Stood Still

Prompt 2) What I liked about this film was it's portrayal of the alien a man and the robot. The alien man looked like a normal human but was actually from another planet. It was very interesting to see Mr Carpenters relationship with the boy bobby and his mother. You normally wouldn't see so much compassion in an alien in a normal alien movie you would not get this type of interaction that's what caught my attention. Another scene that I really like was when the robot took the women into the space ship and kept her there so she would be safe. I also liked when the robot brought Mr Carpenter to the space ship and then was able to bring him back to life. It was interesting to see how the space man was able to get everyone's attention without having to do any destruction. this movie portrayed the aliens as civil beings who just wanted protect the universe and the earth as unstable place where anything could happen.

What I liked the most about this movie was how well this movie was made for being made in the 1930's. For not having a lot of resources the director did a very good job with what he had. I also like the acting especially Frankenstein who didn't have a lot of speaking parts but was able to show his emotions with his expressions which takes a lot of skill. When Frankenstein was talking to the little girls that was when Boris was really able to show his enjoyment with out having to do any communicating. I liked how good this movie was even though it was in black in white you were still able to see the whole movie in an awesome way.
